Administer and manage respiratory care treatments based on physician orders.
Perform diagnostic tests, such as arterial blood gas analysis and lung capacity, to assess patient's respiratory condition.
Monitor and adjust mechanical ventilators for patients who cannot breathe adequately on their own.
Educate patients and families on lung health and maintenance regimes.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to formulate and evaluate customized care plans.
Maintain patient records and document therapy outcomes.
Advanced knowledge of respiratory care procedures and equipment.
Ability to operate and troubleshoot ventilatory supportive equipment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Capacity to handle stressful situations and make decisions quickly.

Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
Licensed as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Florida.
