RN Acute Care Oncology Nights

UCHealth, a leading non-profit healthcare organization based in Colorado, is looking for a dedicated and compassionate RN Acute Care Oncology Nights to join our oncology team. Our nurses work in a patient-centered environment that values clinical excellence and innovation. Our facilities are equipped with the latest technologies, allowing our teams to provide specialized care during overnight hours, focusing on patients battling cancer. As part of your role, you'll work closely with oncologists, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care tailored to the unique needs of oncology patients.
Administer medications, treatments, and cancer protocols as prescribed.
Monitor patient's condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care.
Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, conditions, and options.
Support a multidisciplinary team in decision making concerning patient care.
Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following standards and protocols.
Collaborate with oncology team to plan for comprehensive patient care.
Strong intravenous therapy skills
Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to critically think and make decisions in high-pressure situations
Compassionate patient care with a focus on oncology
