Job Description

Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and determine appropriate treatments for a range of mental health disorders
Prescribe, direct, and administer psychotherapeutic treatments or medications to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to plan and coordinate patient care, from initiation to completion
Monitor and report on treatment progress and adjust strategies as necessary
Offer crisis intervention and emergency services when required
Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality and adherence to professional standards, state laws, and regulations
Engage in continuous education to keep up-to-date with the latest in psychiatric practices and treatments
Proficiency in diagnostic techniques and psychiatric evaluation
Expertise in pharmacological treatments and psychotherapeutic interventions
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Capacity to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary health team
Ability to handle high-stress situations with professionalism and calm
Excellent record-keeping and patient management skills

Board Certification in Psychiatry from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN)
