Job Description
HCA Florida Trinity Hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) on a per diem (PRN) basis to join our esteemed team. As a PRN Respiratory Therapist, you'll play a crucial role in assessing, treating, and caring for patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders. This role requires adaptability and a deep commitment to enhancing patient outcomes through exceptional clinical practice and interpersonal communication.
Perform diagnostic tests such as measuring lung capacity to determine the impact of respiratory conditions on patient health.
Consult and collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and modify individual patient care plans.
Provide therapeutic procedures and administer medications as per the prescribed care plan.
Monitor and record the progress of treatment and communicate findings to relevant healthcare professionals.
Educate patients and their families on managing conditions after returning home.
Proficient in using respiratory care equipment and devices.
Strong understanding of respiratory care procedures and best practices.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.

Current state Respiratory Therapist Licensure.
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification preferred.
