Class B CDL Equipment Operator

Clean Harbors is actively seeking a highly skilled Class B CDL Equipment Operator to join our transportation team. This role focuses on operating specialized company equipment related to environmental services, contributing significantly to our mission of ensuring a safer and cleaner environment. You will play a critical role in our operations, handling hazardous materials and participating in various environmental cleanup projects throughout North America. Safely operate and maintain Class B vehicles according to company policies and DOT regulations.
Load, unload, and transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials safely and efficiently.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicles to ensure safe operational standards.
Coordinate with logistics and dispatch teams to manage schedules and routes efficiently.
Participate in emergency response teams when environmental spills or accidents occur.
Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations at all times.
Complete and submit all required documentation, including logs and inspection records.
Proficiency in operating Class B CDL vehicles and other related equipment.
Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety standards for handling hazardous materials.
Excellent communication and navigational skills.
Ability to perform physical tasks and lift up to 50 lbs.
Capability to work in various environmental conditions, such as heat, cold, and exposure to fumes and noise.
