Job Description
Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Speech Pathologist to join our diverse team of healthcare professionals, dedicated to delivering exceptional therapy services both at our state-of-the-art facilities and in patient homes across 42 states. As a Speech Pathologist at Encompass Health, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patient demographics and conditions, using cutting-edge technology and treatment methods to provide personalized care aimed at improving patients communication skills and overall quality of life.
Evaluate patients' communication, swallowing, and cognitive abilities using a variety of diagnostic tools.
Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on individual patient needs and goals.
Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Educate patients and families on communication techniques and strategies to cope with speech and language impairments.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.
Participate in continued education to stay updated on the latest speech pathology practices and technologies.
Strong understanding of speech-language disorders and treatment options
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Proven ability to tailor treatment plans to individual patient needs
Proficient in using modern technology and medical software for patient care

Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
