We are seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) for a full-time inpatient liver transplant role. This position focuses on overnight coverage with a schedule of 3 shifts per week, 6:30 PM 7:00 AM.

Responsibilities include:

• Rounding on patients and performing examinations
• Writing notes, including H&P and event notes
• Updating handoffs with pertinent information and providing verbal handoffs to day staff
• Admitting patients and performing pre-operative workups for transplant candidates

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a high-acuity inpatient setting supporting a multidisciplinary transplant team.

• Must have an active New York PA license
• Minimum 2 years recent inpatient transplant experience
• Credentialing timeframe: 90 days
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Must be COVID and flu vaccinated
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred

• Exposure to complex liver transplant cases and procedures
