Job Description
HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Operating Room team on a PRN basis. Assist in surgical procedures, ensuring efficient adherence to established operating room protocols.
Monitor patient status and provide timely updates to the surgical team.
Maintain a sterile environment and ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
Administer medications and monitor patient reactions during and post-operation.
Document all care-related activities accurately in patient records.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to plan, manage, and evaluate patient care plans.
Participate in the assessment, implementation, and evaluation of patient care that is evidence-based and modelled according to facility standards.
Expertise in general nursing skills, particularly in a surgical environment
Strong ability to operate under pressure in a fast-paced setting
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Proficient in using medical software and electronic health records

Current RN license valid in the state of Texas
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
