Respiratory Care Assistant PRN

Join HCA Healthcare as a Respiratory Care Assistant PRN, working on an as-needed basis to support our respiratory therapy teams across our network. This role is instrumental in assisting registered respiratory therapists and physicians in the diagnosis, treatment, and care of patients with respiratory and pulmonary disorders. You will contribute to our mission of improving human life by providing compassionate and high-quality patient care.
Assist Respiratory Therapists in the setup and operation of ventilation equipment
Perform routine maintenance checks on respiratory apparatus
Support patient assessments and care planning
Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records
Educate patients and families about health maintenance and disease prevention
Comply with all health and safety regulations and procedures
Knowledge of respiratory equipment and protocols
Ability to work collaboratively within a clinical team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Basic patient care and monitoring competencies
Adept at handling sensitive information discretely
