Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) $55$65/hr + Guaranteed Pay | AAC | School-Based | Belchertown, MA
Boothby Therapy Services is hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based position in Belchertown, Massachusetts. This role supports a diverse pediatric caseload, including nonverbal and minimally verbal students and students who use AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication).
We welcome both experienced SLPs and Clinical Fellows (CF-SLP / CFY) who are passionate about working in pediatric, school-based, and AAC-focused settings.
Position Details

- Schedule: Full-Time (35 hours/week)
- Pay Rate:$55$65/hour (guaranteed pay for scheduled time, even if student sessions are missed)

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Responsibilities
- Provide school-based speech-language therapy services to students with diverse communication needs
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and AAC assessments
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and services
- Deliver direct therapy services (individual and small group sessions)
- Support students with:
- AAC systems and device implementation
- Expressive and receptive language development
- Social/pragmatic communication
- Functional communication for nonverbal/minimally verbal students
- Articulation, fluency, and voice (as applicable)
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, occupational therapists (OTs), and physical therapists (PTs)
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
- Communicate regularly with families and caregivers
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- CCC-SLPor eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CF-SLP)
- Active Massachusetts SLP license (or eligibility)
- DESE Educator License (Speech, Language & Hearing Disorders) or eligibility
- Experience or interest in AAC, nonverbal communication, pediatrics, or school-based therapy strongly preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
